    Hi Chris,

I’m putting my order in for a location aware sidebar widget. I run a business directory and I want it to present ( 3 ) businesses that are ‘near by’ the website website visitor.

    Cheers,

    Brendan – Melbourne, Australia

This is a popular request, I’ll look into adding it.

Just to clarify: the plugin can guess the user’s location by requesting it from the browser, but the browser won’t do it without confirming it with the user.  That means the page will stop for a moment and they’ll get a dialog box asking if it’s OK to get their location.  Is that what you’d like, or would they enter their address some other way?

+1 on this. But not only as a sidebar.

with todays responsive designs, being able to “show POIs” nearby is a huge benefit in many cases.

(An it must support filtering, but it already does more or less with queries).

    Great plugin!
