Hi Chris – I’d love the ability to reference images uploaded through the media manager — referenced in TurboCSV not by their attachmentID, but by their image URL and let TurboCSV do the work of sending back a matching attachmentID. Would save… hours for importing a mass amount of products for example. Just as a source of code inspiration – I believe WooCommerce has this. Thanks!
Hi, that’s a very good idea, it would make it a little easier to correlate the images.
If I understand, the process would be:
1. Import all the images as a separate first step using the WP media manager
2. In the .csv file, refer to the image URL rather than the attachment ID
Is that correct?

Yes, but I don’t know when that will be – I’m currently working on finish up some changes to MapPress. I’ll try to squeeze it in ASAP.
