I would like to know if this plugin is still in development!?
Because until now, I can’t import large amount of data (like 10.000 posts with custom fields) without any error or time out. Even with a server with 256MB of memory.
Are you planning on updating and continue to develop this plugin?

As far as I can tell the memory usage is due to a memory leak within WordPress itself. So the number of rows that can be imported will be limited by memory.
Since you are, so far, the only person who has reported trouble with 256MB, that’s not at the top of my development list.

Just looked in your site and found new version of this plugin!!!
I bought the plugin again, and installed version 2.43……but I still have problems with time outs…..
After import about 3.000 rows, I see this blank page with the text below:

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@piaget.g12.br and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

My server has 256MB memory, and the execution time is 600.
Please, help me sort out this problem!!!
My CSV file has about 12.000 rows……..and I import like 3 fields to Taxonomies and about 7 fields to Custom Fields.
Here it is the CSV file:

So on your server you’ve gone from 10,000 posts to 3,000?
If you like, send me a copy of your spreadsheet and a screenshot of your template and I’ll try the import on my system.
What do your php logs and web server logs say is the error? The should indicate if you’re out of memory or something else.
